I love the texture, the taste + the nutritional benefits this meal has to offer... lets not forget the 20 grams of protein in one serving of this meal tofu. This healthy + satisfying meal will leave you wanting more!.. but not until the next day because you will be full + extremely satisfied.
Here is the recipe for this simple ( but very flavourful) tofu scramble using the finest, mostly local + organic delicious ingredients!
SIMPLY DELICIOUS TOFU SCRAMBLE
Makes: 1 filling breakfast |Prep: 5 MINS | Total: 10-15 MINS
200g of firm organic tofu
1 tsp Golden Grind Turmeric blend
1 Garlic clove grated (can omit or sub garlic/onion powder)
1 tbs of organic tapioca flour (helps to bind)
1-2 tbs Nutritional yeast flakes
Salt & pepper to taste
pinch of chilli powder if you like a little kick
Kale chips for a nice little crunch to top
Fave sourdough bread
+ Crumble the tofu into a bowl with your hands & press with a paper towel the reserved excess moisture
+ Add to the crumbled tofu the Golden Grind Turmeric blend, Tapioca flour, nutritional yeast flakes, extracts spice as you wish & season with salt & pepper. Toss to cover
+ Pre heat non stick fry pan with coconut oil. Fry tofu mixture for about 5 mins until it’s nice & crispy!
+ Plate on top of your favourite slice of toast, I used Almond Road Spelt sourdough. To finish, I have added my favourite Probiotic kale chips by Pure snack for some extra crunch & flavour on the side.
